## How ranking works

-   Anyone can vote on a tool. Anonymous votes are rate-limited and fingerprinted to prevent abuse.
-   Vote counts reset every Monday at midnight EST so newer tools get a fair shot.
-   The top 3 most-voted tools that week win a featured slot on the homepage and a permanent entry in [Winners](/winners).
-   Paid placements (Boost, Launch Package) appear with a clear "Featured" badge — they never displace organic ranking.
-   If a tool stops working we de-list it. Email or DM us if something looks off.
